Lenchak JacquieLENCHAK, Jacqueline Marie Helene 'Jacquie' - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacquie on Monday October 26th, 2020 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, ON.

She was born in 1933 in Ansonville ON. Later, parents Diana and “Joe” Marchand moved her and her sister Pierrette (Chaperon of Sault Ste. Marie, ON) to North Bay ON. It was in during a stay in Toronto she met her soulmate John, they married in 1956 and started a life together.

Sadly, John passed away in 1988 at a young age leaving a tremendous void in her life and heart. Their marriage had brought four children to them and now four families as an extension of their life bond.

Kim and Bruce (predeceased) Lennie of Aurora ON along with their son Jarret will miss grandma. Michelle and Paul (predeceased) Madden of Aurora ON, grandchildren Shauna and Rob Wilson of Stroud ON, great-grandchildren Blake, Logan and Easton, grandchild Erin Madden and Sean McGowan of Essa ON, great-grandchild Rose, and grandchild Patrick Madden, will miss Gigi. John and Rhonda Lenchak of Aurora along with grandchildren Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Madison pray for grandma. Marianne and Ron Popadiuk of Mississauga ON and grandchildren Ryan and Cory will miss grandma as well.

Jacquie also leaves behind many extended family members, and friends.

Given these difficult times we ask people to not put themselves at risk and maintain their personal bubbles, be smart and be safe; she would have wanted that.

Please say a prayer or donate to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Visitation for Jacquie will be held Sunday, November 1st from 1 - 2 and 3 - 4 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.

Funeral Mass will occur Monday, November 2nd from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Our Lady Of Grace RCC, 15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G1N7. Cremation will occur Friday, November 6th at 12:00 PM.
