HOPE, Meta Coletta - Meta Hope, affectionately known as Mum Mum, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer with her daughters by her side.
She died at Providence Health Care in Scarborough at the age of 80 on Tuesday October 27, 2020.
Meta immigrated to Toronto with her mother in 1957 and lived a long happy life with her large family and friends. Mother of four, Erdine, Grafton, Maureen and Adrian. Grandmother of five, Jamaal, Justin, Nicolette and Tamia. Great Grandmother of four Jazariah, Javayah, Jalayah and Janalah.
She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
Family and friends will be received (RESPECTING COVID RESTRICTIONS) at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, at 4115 Lawrence Ave E., Scarborough on Monday November 2nd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd at Church of the Nativity at 10 Sewells Rd. in Scarborough.
Charitable donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Church of the Nativity instead of flowers.
