ALYDON, Dionicia Leam - It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Dionicia Leam Alydon on November 27, 2020 at the age of 86.
Born October 5, 1934, on the island of Samar, Philippines, Dionicia was a loving and devoted mother of two, to Teresa and Antonio (Tony) Jr.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Christopher, Christine (husband Janelle), Crisanta (husband Ramil), Cecil (partner Louie), Carina (husband Paul), Alberto, Ashley and Kimberly. Cherished by her great-grandchildren: Maria Janelle, Mykel Jacob, John Matthew, Junix Matthew, Lou Andi and Jean Alexi. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Helen.
Dionicia was known for her steadfast love and commitment to family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. After immigrating to Canada in May of 1997, it was here where she helped raise her youngest grandchildren. She spent her last years between Canada and the Philippines, surrounded by loving family and friends.
We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to the Palliative Unit at Providence Healthcare for their kindness, comfort and support to Dionicia during these unprecedented times.
Arrangements with Ogden funeral home, Scarborough. At this time, the funeral service will be private and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
