KLAEHN, P. David   -  December 15, 1925 – January 16, 2021

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of P. David Klaehn on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the wonderful age of 95.

Beloved husband of Catherine Cryer and dear father to Karen Landheer, David K. Klaehn and Laura Klaehn (Eli Palachi). Grandfather (PD) to Alex and Karl; and Grandpa to Ethan; and Skylar Palachi.

Brother to Laura Miron (Rob) of Vancouver and Carolynn Honor (Peter), both deceased. Uncle to Gordon (Cathy) and Andrew (Jenn). Cousin to Jill (David C. Klaehn, deceased).

Brother-in-law to James and Evlyn Cryer and uncle and good friend to the entire extended 'mob' in Australia and UK.

David was born in Saskatoon.

After enlisting in the Royal Canadian Navy at the end of WWII, David graduated B.Comm 1948 from McGill University in Montreal.

Grateful thanks to Sunnybrook Palliative Care unit for his last peaceful days.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army – his favourite charity for over 70 years.
