Tricarico TeresaTRICARICO, Teresa - God called Teresa peacefully on January 20th, 2021 from Largo Medical Center at the age of 90 after a short battle with cancer.

She will be reunited in heaven with her loving husband Eugenio.

She will be cherished by her son Franco and daughter Silvana (Ierullo) and son-in-law Bruno. Proud and loving Nonna of Cassandra and Christina.

Teresa was born on August 31, 1930, in the town of San Giorgio Morgeto, Reggio Calabria, Italia to Katarina and Luigi Lieto. She had 5 brothers and a sister. She immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1958 where she met and married her husband of 44 years, Eugenio. Her husband passed away in 2001, and in 2006 she immigrated to Belleair Beach Florida, to be closer to her adult children.

Teresa will always be remembered for being the personification of perfection. She was as beautiful on the inside as she always projected on the outside. Perfect to a “Tee." The twinkle in her eyes, and her infectious smile would light up a room. She loved and lived life to the fullest.

Teresa’s greatest love was her family, closely followed by her friends and neighbours. She loved to walk the beach, looking for small perfectly formed seashells, which she would adorn her flowerpots with.

She also loved gardening. She was the epitome of a “Green Thumb." A snippet here and a snippet there, and soon she’d have all sorts of things blooming. She would take such great pride in having a beautiful garden.
But above all, she will mostly be remembered for all the wonderful Calabrese dishes that she would create for her family and friends. She will always be cherished, and her memory will Forever Be Remembered.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral mass and entombment will be private. There will be a visitation period on Saturday January 30th from 9-11 am by appointment only. Please do so at the RSVP link under the visitation information on Teresa's memorial page on the website of Ward funeral home - WOODBRIDGE chapel.

The family has provided the opportunity to view the church service from the comfort of your own home. Please click "Photos and Videos" for the link under webcast at time of service at 12 p.m. On mobile devices and tablets the webcast link will be available by scrolling to the bottom of the page. This link will become available at the time of the service.
