Shillington ElsinoreILLINGTON, Elsinore Carole (nee HARDY)    - Sadly we announce the passing of Carole, who lost her fight on January 21, 2021, after recently celebrating her 77th birthday.

A breast cancer survivor, Carole courageously fought heart disease and passed away peacefully at home.

Carole was the daughter of the late James and Eleanore Hardy and the beloved Wife of Alan Shillington.

Cherished Mother of Sheryle, Victoria (Kent), Scott (Amy) and doting Nana/Nanelle to Meghan, Mitchell, Teagan, Brody, Emily and Danielle.

A loving sister to Gary Hardy and the late Bob Hardy.

Adoring Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Carole had a lifelong dream to be a Stewardess and it was a dream joyfully fulfilled.

Once her children were born however, they became her biggest priority. As her children grew, she returned to the work force as a photo retouching artist for Hardy Photography.

She later became successful in property management/real estate rentals in Mississauga. Upon her retirement in Cambridge, Carole thoroughly enjoyed volunteering with the IODE group and in early years, the Rotary Ann's of Mississauga.

Carole was an avid lover of animals with a smile which could light up a room.

She was always dancing and would often lead impromptu dance parties with her family.

Carole will be so terribly missed. Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
