Kreidler ElizabethKREIDLER, Elizabeth Rita (nee Joseph) - (1936 - 2021) - Elizabeth Rita Kreidler (née Joseph) passed away peacefully at home March 1, 2021.

She is survived by her adoring husband Siegbert, children Joseph (Janet), Kareen (Marco), Nina (Tim), grandchildren Jazmin, Maximillian, Sebastian, Vivian, Andreas and Jakob, sisters, Grace and Myrtle, and brother Selwyn and their families.

Predeceased by her dear parents Alexandrine and Louis, siblings Agnes, Ahmid, Mary, Frank, John, Joyce, Lewis, Margaret, Merle, Mervin and Tom and lovingly remembered by their families.

Fondly remembered by the Kreidler and Scherrmann families (Germany) and the Brodas (Canada).

Born July 8, 1936 and raised in Trinidad, West Indies, Elizabeth worked for Shell Oil and the Police Commissioner's Office before moving to Canada in 1968, where she held positions at the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto.

Elizabeth and her husband, "Sigi,” were married July 18, 1969. In June 1970, Elizabeth welcomed her son, and in March 1972 and January 1974, her two daughters.

A loving wife, devoted mother, doting “Omi,” esteemed aunt and great-aunt, a wonderful neighbour and a true friend to many, Elizabeth was known for her generosity and hospitality, her kindness and compassion, her dazzling smile and her zest for life. With a passion for travel and a knack for languages, Elizabeth was also a talented chef and beautiful ballroom dancer, alongside her life partner. She had a wonderful sense of humour and carried herself with poise and grace--inside and out--in good times and bad.

A woman of extraordinary faith, Elizabeth led by example as an ordained Eucharistic Minister who administered communion to the sick and elderly. Her philanthropy both home and abroad helped family, friends and strangers in need. Though Elizabeth will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on through all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.

The family would like to thank all those who helped support Elizabeth, with special thanks to PSW Mani for the gentle care and compassion she provided.

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to a charity of choice. Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Scarborough chapel.
