MORO, Velia - With sadness, we announce the passing of Velia (Val) on March 12, 2021 at the age of 89.
Beloved daughter of the late Pietro and Elisa Moro.
Survived by her sister Dina Sabbadin.
Cherished aunt of Laurie Rodgers, Gerald Sabbadin (Michele) and Paul Sabbadin.
Forever remembered by her great-nieces Meghan Rodgers and Reilly Sabbadin, and great-nephews Wynne Rodgers and Kaiden Sabbadin.
Val was born and raised in Kirkland Lake, ON, where she began her life-long career with CIBC that soon lead her to Toronto. An avid traveler, she collected trinkets and stories to share with her family and friends that eagerly awaited in Kirkland, Toronto and Italy.
Arranagements with Bernardo Funeral Homes, Toronto on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, attendees will need to reserve a time slot for visitation. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at 8:00 p.m. A private cremation will follow with internment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Velia may be made to the Humber River Hospital Foundation.
