Oliveri VitoOLIVERI, Vito - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Vito Oliveri, on Friday March 12, 2021 at the age of 84.

Vito was not only a warrior but a fighter right to the end when God called him to his eternal home.

He was born in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily on October 28, 1936. He is predeceased by his parents Vito (1987) and Giovanna (2001). He will be missed by his loving and devoted wife Giuseppa, of 57 years, his loving daughters Maria (Carlo) and Antonella (Joseph) and adoring grandchildren Anthony (Melanie), Gianluca (girlfriend Alexandria), Daniel, Alessia, Ariana, Ava and Joseph.

Vito was the eldest of 4 children and was adored by his siblings Caterina (Giovanni, 2018), Antonia and Franco (Caterina). He was the loving and devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews, cousins and many other family in Canada, United States and Italy and remains in the hearts of all who knew him.

He dedicated his life to his wife and children when he immigrated to Canada in 1967. The legacy he left behind was his strong work ethic and advocating the importance of education to his daughters and grandchildren.

The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. M. Pizzuto, Dr. P. Kuruvilla, Dr. K. Perdrizet, Dr. M. Iafolla and the nursing staff of the 5th floor oncology ward of Brampton Civic Hospital for their care and dedication throughout his illness.

Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral homes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Lymphoma Society of Canada in memory of Vito.
