MARCAN, Zeljko - It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Zeljko on April 18, 2021.
Zeljko lived a full and happy life of 66 years.
He will be remembered for his great sense of humour, compassion, curiosity and love of learning.
He leaves behind his loving wife Marina and daughter Sonja, his mother Tereza and sister Gordana, as well as extended Anic and Silov family.
Always a charismatic and sociable person, he also leaves behind an extensive network of close friends.
The family wishes to extend their profound gratitude to the dedicated team of doctors and nurses who supported Zeljko through the last years of his life.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a very small visitation by invite only on Friday April 23rd, followed by cremation.
If preferred, donations can be made in Zeljko’s honour to the Cancer Centre Redevelopment at the North York General Hospital Foundation at nyghfoundation.ca.
