FEDERICO, Elvira - Forever loved, Elvira Federico (94) went home to Jesus on the evening of April 20, 2021.
Born July 29, 1926 in Caramanico, Italy, Elvira was predeceased by husband Emidio, 7 siblings, and is survived by sister, Anna.
Married in 1948, Elvira became a devoted and loving mother to Mario (Anna), Joe (Laura), Nick (Lynda), Mirella (Joe), and Silvana (Sergio), grandmother of 11, and great grandmother of 17.
Elvira was the glue of the Federico dynasty and her community.
Deeply religious, her world revolved around family, friends, and the church. Elvira also became famous for her enormous home gatherings which overflowed with her incredibly delicious cooking. Everyone fought over ‘Nonna’s meatballs’.
Elvira ensured that her home was always filled with love and laughter.
She has most certainly earned her ‘wings’ and is among Heavenly Angels. Elvira will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who knew her, but will live on forever in our hearts.
The family has decided to have all of Elvira's in person services private for family members only.
