CHERM, David - On Friday, April 23, 2021 at Sunnybrook Hospital after a short illness.
Beloved son of the late Harry and Tillie Cherm of Ottawa, Ontario and beloved brother of three older sisters, the late Mollie Fine, the late Dora Waserman, and the late Sylvia Kaiman.
Deeply mourned by his companion and spouse of fifty-three years, Robert Lebans, and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
Will be remembered and mourned by cousins and friends in Ottawa, Kentucky, Florida, Minnesota, and California.
For thirty years, Donald was a fine teacher of senior mathematics at Don Mills Collegiate Institute in Toronto, where he was known for his professional teaching, his humour, and his open hearted and generous nature.
He will be remembered with fondness by his many students.
A private family funeral will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021.
