McGrarty MelanieMCGROARTY, Melanie Anne   - April 5, 1972 - April 18, 2021

It is with deep sadness that the family announces Melanie's sudden passing from pneumonia at South Lake Hospital, on Sunday, April 18th.

Melanie was a shining beacon of light, always wanting to make people happy! She was intelligent, determined, interesting, funny and very caring.

She had a quirky laugh, and all those who knew her, loved her.

In spite of her various serious health issues which began as a teenager, she was a very positive person, full of life, who was a joy in your company.

Melanie's life on earth came to an abrupt end, days after celebrating her 49th birthday, and she became an Angel of God.

Melanie leaves behind a very saddened family and many friends.

Beloved daughter of Herb McGroarty and Sondra Sullivan (Robert Simpson).

Dearest mother of Dylan James (Leslie) and the late Madison Bailey (February 21, 1998).

She was the much loved sister of Scott (Marie-Claude) and Jason (Deya). Special thanks to her caregivers, Jane, Cynthia and Dr Jody Lewtas.

Melanie will be laid to rest with her daughter in a private family service.

Those wishing to make a donation in Melanie's memory are asked to consider The Arthritis Society.

Melanie, you are profoundly loved now and always!.
