PAVLI, Alfonz - March 31, 1959 – April 23, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Alfonz on Friday, April 23, 2021, after a courageous three year battle with cancer.
Alfonz was born in Kitchener to Slovenian immigrants.
He pursued a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo and completed a Business Administrative Diploma from Wilfred Laurier University.
His career spanned over 30 years as a Senior Business Analyst at Ontario Hydro and a Senior Project Manager with Capgemini.
Faith and family were everything to Alfonz. His lasting message was, "Be faithful. Be kind. Never give up."
Alfonz will be deeply missed by his sister, Catharina, brother-in-law, Joseph Gasser, their children Alexander, Matthew, and Natasha, his cousin Janet (Rob) Jamison, his parents-in-law Antonio and Margarita Martinez, and the extended family in Mexico, Slovenia and Austria.

Due to Covid restrictions, visitation is by invitation only. The family wishes to thank his team of doctors, Dr. Menjak, Dr. Galanaud, Dr. Hansen, Dr. H. Wong, Dr. Louli, Dr. Selby and the entire nursing staff at Sunnybrook.
In uniting us globally, we ask you to place a lit candle outside your front door at sundown on Friday April 30th in memory of the light which Alfonz brought into each of our lives.
