HACHEY, Joanne Margarite (nee HURD) - It is with great sadness to announce that on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, Joanne Margarite Hachey passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69 years.
Joanne was predeceased by her beloved husband and soulmate of 50 years Bruce, whom she is now reunited with once again along with sister Mary (Bob).
Joanne leaves behind her 2 sons Jason (Mercedes), Shawn (Lisa), 5 grandchildren Lucas, Samantha, Tyler, Makenzie and Quinn, brother Pat (Sharon), sister Carolyn (Frank) along with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and dear friends who will forever remember her and hold her close to their hearts.
A Celebration of Joanne's life together with her late husband Bruce's will be held at a later date to be determined.
Donations in memory of Joanne can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for those who wish to do so.
