FLORES, Freddie Vila - 1948-2021 Passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Niagara Health in St. Catharines at the age of 73.
Loving father of Aiza, Jean and Lesley, with wife Julia.
Survived by sisters Myrna (Frank) and Lynn (Dante). Grandfather of Cassandra.
Freddie was born in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines to Celestino and Angeles Flores.
He joined the Armed Forces of the Philippines and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University in Manila in 1972.
He moved to Canada in 1974 and worked at Canadian Tire for 26 years before retiring in 2000.
A voracious reader with a particular interest in history, Freddie loved to travel, cook and maintain his marksmanship at the shooting range.
He will be missed for his warm and infectious laugh, intellectual curiosity, generosity and eagerness to help a friend in need.
