MANGANO, Franca - Our beloved mother Franca Mangano, departed on May 2nd, 2021.
Franca will be so sorely missed by her daughters Angela and Antionette and by her son John and daughter in law Victoria.
Franca was born in Pisticci, Italy to Giulia (Cassano), & Salvatore Plati on November 22nd, 1933. Franca was a loving sister to Gaetano, Graziella, Domenica, & Pasquale.
She dearly loved and devoted her life to raising her children Angela, Antoinette & John, she loved being called “Nonna” by her grandchildren Vincent, Joshua, Michael & Nicole.
Devoted to her faith and an active member of St Peter’s & Transfiguration of Lord Church Choirs, she found solace and comfort within her faith, when her beloved husband Enzo suddenly passed at the young age of 56.
She will always be in our hearts as an avid world traveler, fantastic cook, and amazing baker who never used any measuring cups or recipes.
May she find eternal rest in the loving arms of her faith where there is no more pain and suffering, but only eternal peace.
We will forever remember her blowing her magical kisses that radiated her love and warmth.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral mass and entombment will be private. Arrangements and livestream details are entrusted with Ward funeral homes, Woodbridge chapel.
