UMBRIACO, Sergio - It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved husband, father and nonno Sergio Umbriaco, on May 5, 2021, at the age of 71.
Sergio will be deeply missed by his wife, Teresa, of 45 years.
He is the loving father of Cathy (Adam), Guido and Melissa. And beloved nonno to Levi and Sawyer.
He will be incredibly missed and forever remembered by all of his family and friends.
Sergio had an immense love for people and once you spoke with him, he considered you a friend (although he probably wouldn’t remember your name). He was always ready with a silly joke or one liner just to make you laugh.
As true to his nature, Sergio managed his battles with health with great strength and vigor and fought until the very end to spend as much time with his family as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by his wife and children whom he cherished.
Dad, to say we love you would be an understatement – and to say we are going to miss you would be an even greater understatement.
The Umbriaco family greatly appreciates your gestures of sympathy and condolences at this very difficult time.
Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions the visitation, funeral service and the entombment service will remain private for the family only. Arrangements entrusted with Jerrett funeral home, St. Clair Chapel. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
