Flatt LindaFLATT, Linda R. - Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, at Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket – after a long struggle with cancer, our beautiful sister, friend, aunt, & godmother, died early Wednesday May 12, 2021. 

To all of us who are at a loss as to how to say goodbye in these times, Linda would want us to wait until we could celebrate together, comfort each other, and tell stories that included her… we will let everyone know when we are able to safely gather together for a celebration of her fascinating, unique life!

 

 

Linda leaves her brothers, Gerald Flatt, Tom Flatt, & sister Glena Courtman, (Greg) her sister-in-law “Mrs. Linda” Becic, predeceased by her sister Jerene Tucker, and sister-in-law Jo-anne Flatt, her parents, Dalton Flatt, Ethel Flatt, & Ruth Flatt.

Linda also leaves her cherished nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews, and her 5 godchildren, her BFFs Josee Cianci, Jean Thomas, Lynette Pierie, Penny Kaminski, Colleen Jordan, Clemmie Singer, her co-workers at York Central Hospital, Radiology Department (MacKenzie Health),

A special thanks to her caregivers at home, and to Palliative Dr. Kung, and Palliative Nurse Fariba, her journey was made easier because of your dedication, and professional service.

Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Stronach Cancer Care Centre, Newmarket, and Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket.
