Andrews AllanANDREWS, Allan George   -  November 15 1939 – May 5, 2021

Born in Dublin, Ireland, as the eldest of three children, Allan was very bright and excelled at his studies and pursuits of water-skiing as a youth.

In particular, he was an accomplished organist and a good pianist.

His first love was music and he performed on the organ for many years well into adulthood.

He did, however, recognize that a livelihood was likely outside of music and so, he attended Trinity College University majoring in economics and finance.

In the mid-1960s, Allan immigrated to Canada for all the "new world" opportunities in North America.

He joined the large accountancy firm Clarkson Gordon and attained his professional designation as a Chartered Accountant.

During this period, Allan married Joan and became a stepfather. He also fathered his son Lorne, the joy of his life.

Upon actual retirement, Allan and his long-term partner Laurie moved to the lovely Town of Grimsby where they have been happily residing with kitties in an 1878 heritage home on 3 acres including a cherry orchard enjoyed every summer by family and friends.

Allan is survived by his wonderful siblings, brother Victor (Rosalie) and sister Hilary (David) in Ireland, along with his nieces Lynne, Karen and Rebecca and nephew Andrew.

He shall be very deeply missed by stepchildren Adam and Diana, his son Lorne, daughter-in-law Aneta, beloved grandson Alex, his devoted partner Laurie, and a group of friends who so enjoyed his humour, reliability and clever mind.

Rest in peace our kind, darling man.
