O'NEILL, Dermot Jeffrey - (1962 - 2021) - Passed away peacefully in his 59th year at Providence Ville Palliative Care Centre on Saturday May 15th, 2021.
Dermot was a celebrated author. His book "Rebuilding the Celtic languages" was compulsive reading for Celtic Studies students throughout the world.
Predeceased by his mother Sheila and brother Rory he will be greatly missed by his father Dermot, brothers Sean, Frank, and Brian, and his extended family members in Canada, Ireland, USA, and the UK.
Due to Covid restrictions a small gathering of family will take place at Paul O'Connor funeral home, Scarborough, followed by a mass at Precious Blood Catholic Church on Friday May 21st at 11am. *These services will all be private by invitation only.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and Providence Ville for their compassion and care!
In honour of Derm's memory donations made to either Sunnybrook or Princess Margaret would be appreciated.
