Lowery EileenLOWERY, Eileen (Bellefontaine) - (May 10, 1925 - May 16, 2021) -

Eileen had recently recovered from breaking her hip in September 2020 and was still living independently in her own condo. At the beginning of May, she developed an infection from a perforated duodenum that required surgery.

She was recovering in hospital and had asked Barry to bring in her glasses and a book to read.

Unfortunately, she developed another infection and her body was not able to fend it off. We were fortunate that both Maureen and Barry were able to visit her daily. She died peacefully in Trillium Hospital, Mississauga site. She had just turned 96.

As per her wishes and covid restrictions, only family will be at the funeral. She did not want a fuss.

Donations to Trillium Hospital would be appreciated more than flowers. Arrangements are entrusted with Ridley funeral home.

Eileen is survived by daughter Maureen, son Barry (Ann), grandsons Scott (Candice) and Richard and her brother Ron (Roberta) in Nova Scotia.
