Crich KarenCRICH, Karen A.   - Passed suddenly and unexpectedly in Toronto, on May 17, 2021, age 52.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Greg, children Sarah and Jeffrey, her brother Jamie Crich and his wife Heidi Bayley, and niece Ellowyn.

Predeceased by her parents Marion and Donald Crich, and beloved older brother Paul.

She will be deeply missed by Greg's Mom and Dad, Tom and Dianne Betty, and his sister Jennifer Betty.

Karen lived an accomplished and vibrant life.

Always energetic, engaging and charming, she made everyone she encountered feel that they were the centre of her attention.

Her accomplishments in her too short 52 years were many. She was a scholarship winner, a top 5 nationally ranked long-distance runner, a varsity athlete at Western, an HBA and a CA. She was a very successful businesswoman, helping to run her family's real estate and construction business, alongside her best friend and brother, Jamie. Karen was a strong believer in giving back and supported a wide range of philanthropic causes.

She met Greg at Western. Together for 30 years and married for 22, andt made family the centre of their lives. Always up for more family and love, she orchestrated the adoption of a mutt named Molly last summer to help Greg cope with their looming empty nest. Little did she know how important that would be.

The loss of their north star weighs heavily on Greg, Sarah, Jeff, and Molly, but they will find a way. Karen wouldn't have it otherwise.

A private service will be held next week, followed by interment in Arva.

A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Karen's name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.HeartandStroke.ca) or London Health Sciences Foundation for Cardiac Care (www.LHSF.ca) would be appreciated.
