McKENZIE, Mary Wilena "We'We" (nee Donovan) - It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of one of our family’s matriarchs, Wilena (We’We) McKenzie, who left this world on Monday May 24, 2021, in Toronto ON, just shy of her 83rd birthday, (June 3, 1938).
Beloved wife of the late Alexander "Bud" McKenzie. Predeceased by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. George Donovan and brother Richard.
Dear Sister to Georgina, Jody, Kay, and Eddie. Loved Aunt and Great-Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many.
If ever Angels walked amongst us, this beautiful soul was one. We’We was the sweetest, kindest most gentle person to anyone who was lucky to have known her. Her smile lit up a room and warmed any heart she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever loved. The night skies will forever be brighter with you to watch over all of us.
We’We was a dedicated member of St. Brigid's Parish for many years.
Arrangements entrusted with Trull funerla home. A funeral service to celebrate We'We will be held at a later date. Interment will also be held in Glace Bay, NS at a later date.
