SANDIFORD, Marilyn "Lyn" - On May 30, 2021, our sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marilyn "Lyn" Sandiford left us.
She leaves in sorrow her sister Aileen Stoneman, brother George William Haworth, son Bob Sandiford and his wife Marg, daughter Elizabeth Goetz and her husband Tom, grandchildren Adam, Maegan, Ashley, Joseph, Jacob, and Matthew, and great-grandchildren Macy, Max, Robin, Lena, Eva, Bodhi, and Anja.
Lyn lost her husband Jack, life partner and travel buddy, in 1996.
In 2017, Lyn suffered a severe head injury, and her health slowly declined, ending sorrowfully last Sunday.
As we mourn and say goodbye, we will be comforted by the wonderful memories she has given us, and we will be reminded of her every time we blurt out "because I said so", smell fresh bread, solve a Sudoku, enjoy the beauty of a peony, or see her smile in our children's smiles.
