DUDMAN, Mary Christina   -  Mary Christina Moore. Known to many as Christina Moore.

Passed away suddenly on May 17, 2021 in Toronto in her 70th year.

Christina was predeceased by her parents Genevieve Mary Moore and Peter Mavor Moore, and her grandparents Dora Mavor Moore, Francis John Moore, Walter Francis Prendergast, Tannis Prendergast, and Elizabeth Henrieta Macadam.

Christina leaves in sadness her son Brian Dudman, her brothers, Ian James Moore and Patrick Andrew Moore. Born in Toronto on December 22, 1951, Christina was a gifted artist and a creative thinker.

She developed a skill for drawing and painting that caught the attention of the Don Mills Mirror. As a young girl, her watercolour of a deer won a contest for North York's official Christmas card.

A photographer and reporter came to her home to learn more about the young artist.

She also had a tremendous skill for conveying with a pencil the humorous side of a person's facial expressions. It was hilarious, and everyone will miss that, except those people she was drawing.

Some described her as gentle, while others noted her strong sense of duty, evident to her little brother who received a frank explanation of the facts of life.

She married and had a son, Brian, the love of her life.

She worked as a teacher's assistant and a crossing guard before retiring in 2019. We will all miss her.

A family wake will be held at a future date.
