STONE, Marilyn Iris - 1929 - 2021 Born in Toronto to parents Donald Ketchum and Iris (Callandar) Ketchum, predeceased by brother David, 1996 and sister Beverly Schnepf, 1981.
Marilyn graduated in 1950 as a registered nurse from Guelph General Hospital.
In 1951, she married Frank Stone, deceased 2001.
Their early family years were in Agincourt, 1956 to 1975, then Etobicoke until 1986.
She leaves her children Mary Beth Gray (Bob), Donald (Arlene), and Janet Kent, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Lindsay, ON, was home from 1986 until 2008, when she moved to Brockville to be with John Gardiner. Fondly remembered by his children Jane Hess (Harold), John Jr. (Barbara), Jamie and their families.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8, (519) 376-7492. on Saturday, June 26th from 1:00–1:40 p.m. and 1:55–2:35 p.m., if you wish to attend visitation, please call the funeral home.
A private funeral service will be held on June 26th from the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or a charity of your choice.
