Kerr WilliamKERR, William (Bill)   -  March 8, 1946 - June 19, 2021

Passed away suddenly at Credit Valley Hospital on June 19, 2021 after a brief illness.

He will be missed by the love of his life, May, who he shared 49 years of marriage with.

A loving and devoted father to Liam. Survived by his sister Honor (Tom Sylvester), brother-in-law Greg Keaveney and sister-in-law Pat Orr.

Reunited with his mother Helen Shearme, father William Kerr, sister Linda Keaveney, brother Tom, sister-in-law Janice Kerr, and brother-in-law David Moore.

Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Bill belonged to the Masonic Temple at Ashlar Lodge in Toronto. Bill loved to read and learn.

He was a Jeopardy fan, crossword aficionado, and master of Jumbles.

He loved sports; playing high school football, baseball, hockey, lacrosse and basketball.

His passion for the past 23 years has been golf, as a member of Markland Wood Golf and Country Club, where he spent many enjoyable hours on the course and socializing with his golfing buds.

He loved to be among friends wherever he went, bantering and having a good laugh. His quick wit and a droll sense of humour will be missed by all. He lifted up others with his cheerful outlook and generosity of spirit. His absence has left a hole in our hearts.

A private service will be held June 28th, at Glen Oaks in Oakville.

A celebration of life will take place when permitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
