PEREIRA, Mariana Vera - Mariana Vera Pereira was born on March 30, 1933 in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal and passed away on June 29, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 88 years.
Mariana was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio and their beloved daughter, Maria Ascençao Pereira.
She is the loving Mother of Anna (Jose Amaral), Dilia (Jose Alves), Maria (Bruno Pileggi) and Antonio (Anna Pina). Cherished Grandmother of Sandy, Jeffery, Alexandra, Virginia, Eusebio, Marco, Melanie, Sergio, Jessica, Celina, Jenny, Steven and many great grandchildren.
She will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of her family and friends.
The Pereira family greatly appreciates your gestures of sympathy and condolences during this very difficult time. Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions limiting the number of people that may attend, the Visitation will remain private for the family only. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 10am at St. Matthew Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Rd.). Due to the current restrictions, the space will be limited for up to 50 family and friends, to join the family at the church. Please arrive at the church at least 15 minutes prior to the service so that we can obtain your name and phone number. Once the church reaches the capacity, no one else will be permitted to attend.
All those present at the church are welcome to join the family for the burial at Prospect Cemetery (maximum of 75 people outdoors).
