Pike MarionPIKE, Marion (Talbot) - It is with great sadness, I announce the passing of Marion, 71 years old, of Toronto, Ontario. After a lengthy illness, she passed away at Michael Garron Hospital on July 5, 2021

Marion was born in November of 1949 in Newmarket, Ontario to the late Harold and Gwen Talbot (nee Bond). She was one of eight children.

Marion was a strong, independent, caring woman who persevered through many of lives challenges. She met each of life’s obstacles head on with grace and patience.

Some of these obstacles would have left others in shambles, but she would always pick herself up and go on if not for herself, then for her family.

Her commitment and devotion to her family knew no bounds.

Loving mother to Brenda Hefferon and the late Carol Pike.

Cherished Nanny to Sara Hefferon (Rob Scotland), Brittney Tuccitto (Brandon Savage), Cory Hefferon, Brianna Mazerese, William Mazerese (Lyndsay Frey) and Salvatore Petralito (Marissa Milley).

Beloved ‘Nanny Marion’ to her great grandchildren; Tristin, Kadence, Sawyer and Stevie.

She leaves behind her sisters and brother as well as many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and a small gathering will take place in the near future.

A special thank you to Princess Margaret Hospital, and LHIN for the care she received and their continued support. Thank you to Michael Garron Hospital palliative unit and respiratory unit for their compassion, exceptional care and understanding shown to both Marion and her family.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Michael Garron Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
