HOUSTON, Walton Lee - Walton Lee Houston, age 74, the son of the late Melbourne and Laura Garrett Houston, died in Toronto, Ontario, on May 10, 2021.
He was born February 8, 1947, in Trenton, Michigan.
He grew up in Ecorse, Michigan and attended public schools there.
He also attended Oakland College in Rochester Hills, Michigan, having earned a scholarship.
He loved old books and at one time, he had many boxes of them. He also appreciated classical music, especially Strauss Waltzes.
In 1968, he moved to Canada and never lived in the US again.
He loved Toronto and enjoyed showing friends and family around the city.
He was predeceased by his parents and half-sister Lucylle Cooper. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Lou Houston of River Rouge, Michigan and Sarah McDonald of Beaverton, Oregon and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled later.
