Pollock JeanPOLLOCK, Jean Hilson  - 1929 – 2021  Passed away peacefully, with her beloved husband of 71 years by her side, on June 27, 2021.

She is survived and dearly missed by her children: Annette (Jeff), Stuart, and Laura.

She will be forever missed by her sister Martha (John) McKay and brother Thomas (Annette) McQuire.

Jean will be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren: James (Amanda), Pamela, Scott (Hooriya) and Erica, and five great-grandchildren: Taya, Alyssa, Jaxon, Addison, and Madi, whom she loved and supported endlessly.

Born and raised in Larkhall, Scotland, Jean was 21 years old when she married her future lifelong partner, Robert (Bob) Pollock.

Alongside her husband and the first two of her three children, Jean immigrated to Canada in 1956, comfortably settling into a quiet suburb in Scarborough, ON.

Jean and Bob continued to raise their children and pursue their many interests. Jean worked as an administrative and clerical assistant for Toronto Hydro, and Scarborough Eye Associates.

In her spare time, she loved knitting for friends and family.

Jean and Robert enjoyed numerous vacations and cruises abroad throughout the years. Her excellent empire biscuits and Christmas trifle will be missed by many.

Jean was loved, adored, and respected by all who knew her. She will forever live on in our hearts and minds.

At present, Jean will be privately celebrated and remembered by her immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
