GREEN, Leonard W.  -  It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard W. Green, 85 years, of Kinmount, ON, announces his peaceful passing on July 7, 2021.

Leonard had wonderful memories from working at Kodak Canada for many years.

He had a love for nature which he was able to share with and inspire countless young people as a Scout leader for over 30 years.

He treasured his trips across Canada on his motorcycle.

He showed wonderful devotion to his faith and church, seeing and quickly filling various needs as they arose.

He loved spending time with family and friends at "Green Acres", his cherished cottage along the Irondale River in Haliburton.

In his spare time, he enjoyed working with his model trains, collecting stamps, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his sisters Lois Parker (George) and Wendy Briginshaw (Brian). Predeceased by his parents Eric and Elizabeth and his brother Tom.

He will forever be cherished by his many nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and friends.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the care extended to Leonard by the staff of Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket.

Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery in Toronto on August 2nd at 1:00 p.m.

A Memorial service will be held at St. James Anglican Church in Kinmount on October 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
