DAVIS, William Grenville (a.k.a. 'Dutch') - (July 30, 1929 – August 8, 2021)
It is with immense sadness that the family of William Davis announces his passing on August 8, 2021.
After spending much family time in his most favourite of all places, his cottage in Georgian Bay, Dutch died of natural causes at home in Brampton, surrounded by members of his family.
He was 92 years young.
Beloved husband to Kathleen, father to Neil (Ruth) Nancy (Michael) Catherine (Abraham), Ian (Rose), Meg (Paul) and predeceased by his sister Peggy (William) and survived by his sister Molly (William).
Dutch to his grandchildren Christine (Nariman), Kathleen, Spencer, Michael, Meg, William, Robert, Noah, Kerr, Molly, Jack, and Emmett and his great-grandchildren Soraya, Layla and Alma.
A private family funeral will be held on Tuesday August 17th, followed at a later date by a public celebration of his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted with Ward funeral homes.
