Winsor SusanWINSOR, Susan Glennis - A woman of grace and compassion, passed away on August 9, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends.

Beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, friend. Educator, designer, gardener. Christ follower.

Susan made a lasting impact on all who experienced her genuine smile and kindness. It is a comfort to know Susan’s spirit now resides with the Lord.

In her home hangs a hand-scripted verse, “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” John 12:46.

Her faith inspired her to be the Light, emanating warmth and positivity.

This same faith illuminated the sure path she has followed to Heaven.

Susan is survived by her children Bishop, Shepherd, and Winsor Grace, her brother John, and sister-in-law Kelly.

Born on September 9th, 1966 in Montreal, Quebec to loving parents Arthur and Sonja Winsor. Susan’s compassion, empathy, and understanding was in many ways a reflection of the love that was poured into her.

Eventually, Susan moved to Boston, Massachusetts on to Melbourne, Florida, and then Livonia, Michigan. During her time in the States, her three children were born.

Susan was fierce in her love, a fighter for the good. Her tenacity, striking empathy, and brilliant mind, shone brightly everyday. These traits, along with her sense of humour, attributed to her unmatched vibrancy. Her smile as contagious as her positivity and love, Susan lived with passion. Susan was a life-long learner and meaning maker, qualities that live on through her loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 and Friday, August 13th, 2021. The service will take place in the chapel on Friday, August 13th, 2021.

Memorial Donations in Susan's memory would be appreciated by her family to the Odette Cancer Center or Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp.
