COTTER, Gail Ellen - It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Gail Ellen Cotter, of Toronto, on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She will be forever loved and missed by her husband David Hibbits of 31 years.
Loving Mother of Darrin (predeceased), Andrea (Mark), Rachael (Robert), Esther (Patrick), and Jennifer (Michael), and step-mother to Diane (Chris) and Michael (Heather).
Adored Grandmother to Caitlin, Alexander, Rowan, Meghan, Reace, Benjamin, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Edward, Charles, Michael, Marcus, Kaden, Oliver, and Louis.
Gail loved spending time outdoors, appreciating the simplest beauties in life. She loved to spend time on a beach, whether it was in Georgian Bay or Sarasota, and she could spend hours collecting shells or pretty rocks. She was also an exceptional gardener, a generous soul, and she cherished spending time with her family.
Gail was a hard worker and she never gave up, always striving to learn something new such as playing music or learning about new technology.
Arrangements are entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
