STARKMAN, Joel - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joel Starkman on August 16, 2021 after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Sharon Starkman of 53 years, adored father of Rhonda and David, father-in-law to Brian, proud and doting Zaidy of Perri, Logan, Pamela and Ethan.
Son of the late Murray and the late Gertrude Starkman.
To us Joel was larger than life as he lived his life to the fullest. Joel loved to kibitz, he was funny, generous, good-natured and outgoing. He brought joy and laughter to everyone that knew him. He was a real mensch whose absence will be greatly missed.
We wish that we could have everyone be with us but due to Covid restrictions it is a private funeral and shiva for immediate family only. Arrangements are entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel.
