Edwards DesmondEDWARDS, Desmond Gregory Alban - (1951 - 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Desmond Gregory Alban Edwards - our beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He passed away suddenly in Brooklyn, New York on August 12th, 2021.

Desmond was originally from Beaulieu, St. George Grenada then later migrated to Toronto, Canada. He retired from a fulfilling career as a City Inspector in the State of New York.

Desmond was born of the late William Edwards of Beaulieu & Madonna Edwards nee Philbert of Beaulieu and sibling to George, James (deceased), Millie Rosa, Raymond (deceased), Jemina, Beata, Lucy, Christiana & Fred.

He leaves to mourn, his beloved children; Gerard, Carlyle, Keda (husband Masaaba), Heather, Nicole (husband Steve), Randi, Desmond Jr. (wife Monique) & Jeremy; and his grandchildren: Marika, Janel, Dillon, Monique, Josiah, Sitarah, Zakiah, Kedan, Denzel, Shemar, Zahara, Shiqyra, Tyne, Angelique, Dahlon, Tahjuan, Trinity, Priya and Amahri.

He was beloved uncle to Christine (deceased), Kenroy (deceased), Allison, Sharon, Linda, Martin, Miranda, Maria, Sonya, Ryan, Nicole, Susanna, Leon, Jacinta, Jennifer, Glen, Raphael, Pauleen, Philip, Stephen, Anthony, Camille, Candice & Kaleem, he also leaves to mourn many grand nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends, colleagues and confidantes - including Layne, Rupert and Cynthine.

His memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Due to current health restrictions, a private family funeral and service will take place on Sunday August 29th at 2pm. Visitation and livestream funeral service arrangements are entrusted with Ward funeral home, Weston chapel.
