DAndrea LouiseD'ANDREA, Louise Victoria - On August 11, 2021, Louise passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener at the age of 86 with family by her side.

Louise was born on May 24, 1935 in Welland, Ontario, daughter of the late Paul and Amelia D’Andrea.

She is survived by her sister Mary McCluskey-Kviring (Alex) and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

Louise is predeceased by her brothers and their wives, Mario (Jeannine), Vito (Pauline), and Danny (Margaret).

Louise had a passion for her job as a registered nurse, having worked at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and later in the mental health field.

She loved her house in Toronto and everything the city has to offer.

Louise provided many wonderful memories with her thoughtful gifts and was able to reach out and touch your heart. She was one of a twosome, affectionately known as the “Crazy Aunts”, that always added joy to every family gathering.

When asked for her opinion, and sometimes without being asked, Louise would provide you with an unvarnished, blunt assessment.  She did not mince words.

Because she was always straightforward and did not believe in false praise, whenever she gave a compliment, it was extra special because you always knew it came from her heart and she meant every word.  She will be missed.

A private funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation are appreciated.
