Pyper AllisonPYPER, Allison Margaret   - May 24, 1982 – August 13, 2021

Allison (Allie) Margaret Pyper passed away on August 13, 2021 in a Toronto hospital after a short illness.

She is the beloved daughter of Dr. Elizabeth Pyper, and was born in Toronto on May 24, 1982.

Niece to the late Douglas Pyper.

Cousin to Susan Walker (Kenny Walker) and Alan Pyper (Marta Zuchowska). Niece to Dorothy Latham (Colin Latham).

Cousins to Katherine Birmingham (Jamie Birmingham) and Tom Latham.

She graduated from the University of Toronto and received her Law Degree at Bond University in Queensland, Australia where she specialized in Environmental Law.

Once back in Canada she specialized in Criminal and Refugee Law and found her calling helping those in need.

She loved her dog Amelie, animals, plants and of course people. Her passion for travel took her to all continents and many countries including Tibet, Mongolia, and Korea as she always preferred the untrodden path.

Allie volunteered her time with many organizations including those who helped refugees and Amnesty International.

Allie will be missed and remembered for her fiery personality and large smile.

She burned bright, died too soon, and took the road less travelled.

Donations can be made in her name to Amnesty International.

A Visitation will be held at Rosedale Presbyterian Church, 129 Mt. Pleasant Road, on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Funeral will also be at the church on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 2 p.m., and can be viewed by livestream at https://ipickart.ca/stream/APyper.
