Welsh AudreyWELSH, Audrey Bernice (nee GUMBRELL)   - September 13, 1928 - August 16, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey at the Greater Niagara General Hospital.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Welch.

Always a loving and supportive mother to Diane (the late James) Cornwall and cherished Nana of Kelly (Jerry) Kube and Darrell (Jodie) Cornwall and Great-Nana to Cody Kube, Mackenzie, Brandon and Karley Cornwall.

Dear aunt to Sharon, Bruce and Sheila.

Survived by cousin, Jack Russell (Doreen), brother-in-law, Fred Welsh (Barbara). Predeceased by her brother, Ron Gumbrell and his wife, Jean.

Audrey worked for the Attorney General's Office of Ontario for 32 years under four different Sheriffs and was very proud of her service.

Audrey enjoyed her time at Lundy Manor, and was going through her second bout of cancer, with courage, as always.

In recent months, Audrey discovered baseball and became an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.

The family would like to thank her good friends, Charlotte (Maynard) Gilbey, Cheryl Phillips and Jennifer Schembri, for all their support, along with Mom's numerous friends she held dear.

At Audrey's request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
