CRICHTON, Ivadelle (IVY) - Sadly, on August 14, 2021, Ivadelle (Ivy) Crichton, 93, passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener.
She lived most of her life in Toronto where she was educated and worked for Prudential Life Insurance until her retirement.
She spent her last seven years living in Chartwell-Bankside Residence near her daughter in Kitchener.
She was predeceased by her husband James William Crichton in 1976 and more recently by her loving partner, Bill McGregor. Ivy (Nana) will be sadly missed by her three daughters: Adele Bellan, Jean Elliott and Nancy Anderson. Granddaughter, Lindsay Jacobson, and grandsons Jason and Michael Anderson, will surely miss their Nana.
Ivy spent most of her free time knitting and doing needle work. She knitted countless Teddy Bears for Doctors Without Borders and many local charities.
She also enjoyed playing Backgammon, being involved in activities at Chartwell, and doing all sorts of crafts.
She will be buried in Toronto with her husband Jim.
