MATE, Louise Koncz - (March 13, 1923 - August 28, 2021) -
After a short illness, Louise passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health, Richmond Hill.
She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Stephen Mate. She is survived by “my three wonderful children” Robert (Diane), Stephen (Carol) and Louise (Larry).
She is also survived by her many grandchildren Shawn and Jason, Ryan and Jennifer, Stephen,Elisa and Marisa; great grandchildren Alyssa and Jessie, Vanessa and Mathew, Oliver, Harlan and Silas and great great granddaughter Aubrie.
Mom was a hardworking and devoted Mother and grandmother who lived her life humbly with fierce independence. She taught us all to cherish the simple beauty of life, to help others less fortunate which she did through her volunteer work over the years and to always enjoy ice cream. She will be deeply missed by all of us and we will hold her in our hearts forever.
Arrangements are entrusted with Kane-Jerrett funeral home, Thornhill.
