Taylor SteveTAYLOR, George Stephenson 'Steve' - It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of George “Steve” Stephenson Taylor on August 28, 2021.

Born in Toronto on November 27, 1933.

Steve was predeceased by his parents George and Lyla.

He is survived by his husband, Hugh McNeilly; sister-in-law Joyce McDowell; brother, Dale Taylor; nephew, Michael Taylor (Estelle Uy); great-nephews, Dylan and Daniel Taylor; cousins, Cindy Ulman and Marilyn Hicks and their families.

Steve attended UTS, Trinity College, and Osgoode Hall Law School (now York University). He retired from the Law department at Bell (Toronto) after 29 years of service.

Steve was known for his generosity, good humour and hospitality, hosting many large dinners and summer cottage parties for family and friends. Steve and Hugh enjoyed their cottage in Beaver Valley for over 50 years and have wonderful memories with many from the community including the Ward family and the late Joe and Grace Gordon.

In accordance with Steve’s wishes cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time. Arrangements are entrusted with Rosar-Morrison funeral home.
