D'ALFONSO, Sante - It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Sante D’Alfonso on August 27th, 2021 at the age of 93.
Loving husband of over 65 years to the late Ninetta D’Alfonso, and caring father to their three sons: Angelo, Osvaldo (Teresa), and Flavio (Anna).
He is also remembered fondly through his 7 grandchildren (Sabrina, Anthony, Sydney, Adriana, Austin, Marco and Bianca) and 3 great-grandchildren (Daniele, Isabella and Adamo).
Everyone who knew Sante knew of his great charisma, his dedication to his family, and aptitude for hard-work. His hobbies often included being a handyman, helping friends, eating pasta, gardening, and playing cards - although it was pretty difficult to beat him in scopa. He also enjoyed spending time and sharing stories and jokes with his family and friends over an espresso.
Although you are no longer with us, you will live in our hearts forever.
Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cardiac Division of SickKids Hospital in his honour.
