SHAPIRO, Michael - Passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Michael was a very unique individual who lived his whole life, right to the end according to his own vision.
He was the beloved son of Frances Shapiro and the late Philip Shapiro - they all shared a profound lifelong bond of mutual support.
Michael was Howard's and Carla Rose's brother, brother- in-law to Deb Stoch, and uncle to Emma Shapiro and the late Sophie Shapiro.
A Family graveside service will be held on Monday, September 6, 2021. Due to the occurrence of Rosh Hashanah on the evening of September 6, there will be no Shiva.
Contributions in Michael's memory may be made to the Trout Unlimited Canada tucanada.org an organization devoted to freshwater and fish conservation, a cause that Michael was passionate about.
