It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Richard "Dick" Henry Overland, age 94, on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Reunited with the love of his life of 73 years, wife Winnifred. Loving father to Joyce (Ken), Dianne, Sharon (Gary).
Devoted grandfather to Glenda (Grant), Janine, Charlotte (Dylan), Ryan, Candice (Mike).
Proud great-grandfather to Treyton (Martina), Lucas, Owen, Morgan, Michael, Kathryn, Scarlett and great-great-grandfather to Kaiden, Malia. Older brother to Fred (Florence) and the late Allan, Art and Grant.
Longtime employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston, on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Please call funeal home for registration. There will be a private family service following at 1 p.m. in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated.
