Rauthmell GlennRAUTHMELL, Glenn Thomas  -  In loving memory of Glenn Thomas Rauthmell who passed away at the age of 91 on January 17, 2024, who is finally at home with the Lord.

Born on February 16, 1933, in Toronto, he was the epitome of love, selflessness, and generosity throughout his remarkable life and was loved by everyone who knew him.

The cherished son of Thomas and Viola Rauthmell (nee Cronk); he grew up as the fourth child alongside his beloved sisters, Shirley (Ken), Jacqueline (Don), and Corinne.

His love story was a testament to true devotion, as he adored his beautiful wife, Katharine (nee Worfolk).

They first met at St. Olave's Church in Swansea and shortly after were married there in 1957.

His devotion extended to his three daughters, Lynda, Karen (Dale) and Laura (Stephen), who held him in the highest esteem and treasured every moment spent with him.

He was loved by his nieces, Diane, Deborah (Tom), Cheryl-Anne, and Kim, and nephews Chris (Paula), Matthew, and Glenn (Michelle). Highly regarded by his sister and brother-in-law, Joan (Andrew).

His impact radiated even further to his 5 grandchildren, Brittany (Aaron), Liam, Austin, Jack, and Emily, who were blessed to have him in their lives. His love and influence extended to his three great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Jensen, and Averyella; and to his great-nieces and nephews, Nicole (Dom), Julianne, Kurtis (Summer), Ben (Melissa), Zoe, Jessica, Hailey and Braydon, who held a special place in his heart. Glenn was an extraordinary man whose love knew no bounds.

He taught us the importance of kindness, compassion, and selflessness. His unwavering support and guidance will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire and guide us throughout our lives. We are forever grateful for the beautiful memories we shared and the love we received from him. Rest in eternal peace, knowing that your love will forever be a guiding light in all our lives.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the food bank at St. Paul's on the Hill Church would be welcomed.

A private funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., followed by interment at St. Margaret's-in-the-Pines Anglican Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
