Nasu YurikoNASU, Yuriko Lily (nee KASHINO)  -  Peacefully, passed away, with family at her side on February 2, 2024, in her 96th year.

 

Dearly beloved wife of the late Kaoru Jack Nasu of 63 years.

 

Loving mother to Gary (Elsi) and Karen (Glyn) Onizuka.

 

A proud and devoted grandma to Krista (Jonathan), Kenji (Genevieve), Liisa (Brad) and Kristyne. Adoring great-grandma to Jordan.

 

Predeceased by her parents, Masao and Wai (Atagi) Kashino; and her sister, Mary (Sam Kayama); and brothers, Junn (Mary), Kenichi and Tetsuji (Matilda). She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

 

The family is grateful to the wonderful staff at Momiji Seniors Residence for their excellent care in mom's golden years and more recently to the staff at Forestview Retirement Residence - Assisted Living floor, for their excellent care in making the final days of her life so comfortable.

 

A heartfelt thank you to her caregiver, Sabrina Fernando, for her attentive care and friendship. We also wish to acknowledge and thank Dr. David Tannenbaum for his kindness and compassion over the many years of health care to both Lily and Jack.

 

A private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers or koden, please consider a donation to the Momiji Health Care Society or to a charity of your choice in her memory.
