1930 - 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Wilson on February 10, 2024.
A fighter until the very end, Irene passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
Irene lived a rich, fulfilling life with her devoted husband, Graham, of 36 years, full of friends, travel and adventure.
She was a teacher at heart and in practice, broke down barriers in the political realm, and dedicated her younger years to raising four sons.
Irene will be forever missed by Myles (Mary Catherine), Marc, Todd (Ana), and Scott (Sue); and stepdaughters, late Heather (Glenn) and Karen (Mike).
A loving grandmother to Andrea, Tim, Caitlin, Paul, Laura, Sadie, Pearl, Kristi, David, Shaun and Cariana; and great-grandmother to Donika, Declan, Harrison, Christopher, Finn, Piper, Jack and Finn.
Irene is resting peacefully, swimming in her favourite pool.
In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice in her memory would be appreciated.
